Properties:
Off-white or pale yellow crystalline powder; odorless, tasteless. Freely soluble in diluted alkalis, pyridine. Soluble in formamide, DMF at 60℃. Slightly soluble in methanol, hot glacial acetic acid. Almost insoluble in acetone, benzene, chloroform. Practically insoluble in water (one gram dissolves in 50 liters of water).
